Anna and the French Kiss

By Stephanie Perkins

This book is in the perspective of a girl named Anna. Anna is being sent to go to a school in Paris by her parents. Of course Anna is upset because things were just starting to go well with Christopher, or what she calls him Toph. When Anna gets dropped off in Paris she makes her first friend at the dorm, Meredith. Later while she is introduced to Meredith’s other friends she meets the boy Etienne St Clair. He has brown hair, brown eyes, and a very attractive British accent. Anna of course can’t help but fall in love with Etienne who might I add already had a girlfriend. Of course it didn’t help matters later on in the book for Anna when her best friend from home starts dating Toph. She feels betrayed after that, but later forgives her best friend when realizing she did practically the same thing to Meredith, since Meredith liked St Clair. Then at the end of the book St Clair confesses to her he was in love with her from the start and is going to a specific university to be close to her. This is a book about love and falling in love. I thought it was amazing. This is a definite must read contemporary.

This book I rated 5/5 stars.

I do not own a physical copy of this book. I got it from the library.
